Veterans Day
Sky Vista is Proud to Honor our Veterans!

At Sky Vista Middle School, students understand "this nation will remain the land of the free only so long as it is the home of the brave" (Davis, 1939.) SVMS Students are proud to honor the veterans who call Aurora, Colorado home. In years past, SVMS has invited military heroes, military families, and veterans to visit our school and help us celebrate their commitment to our community and our nation. This year, in addition to inviting veterans to visit our school, we invite students to honor the military veterans they know by capturing the essence in a Living Museum. SVMS would be honored if community members would visit the halls of SVMS on November 11, 2013 to view the student-created tributes to veterans. If you are an active or retired military veteran and would like more information about SVMS' Veterans Day festivities or how you can be involved, please contact Ron Garcia y Ortiz, Assistant Principal,  rgarciayortiz@cherrycreekschools.org.

Thank you for your service.
